Student storage or going abroad

Heading home for the summer? Moving out of student accommodation? Taking a year abroad or relocating overseas? When you're not taking everything with you, personal self storage can be a simple and affordable way to keep your belongings safe until you need them again.

At Plowright Storage, we offer a range of storage options, including smaller, affordable units that are ideal for student storage, luggage, boxes, and personal belongings. Whether you need somewhere to keep the contents of your room between terms or a place for your possessions while you travel, you can choose the space that works for you.

Student accommodation isn't always available year-round, and moving everything home at the end of term can be a hassle, particularly if you're studying away from home.

Instead of transporting boxes, bedding, clothes, books and other belongings back and forth, you can put them into student storage and collect them when you need them.

Our smaller storage units are ideal for students who don't need a large amount of space. They can be used for things such as:

It's a practical option for students who are heading home for the holidays, changing accommodation or finishing one course before starting another.

Moving abroad for work, study, or a new adventure doesn't necessarily mean you need to take everything you own with you.

If you're travelling with limited luggage, a self storage unit gives you somewhere to keep the belongings you want to hold onto without paying to transport everything overseas.

Store suitcases, boxes, furniture, and personal possessions while you're away, then collect them when you return or when you're ready to decide what to do with them.

Storage can also be useful if you're moving abroad but haven't decided whether you're staying permanently. Rather than rushing to sell or dispose of your belongings, you can keep them safely stored while you settle into your new life.

When you're a student or travelling abroad, you may not want to spend more than necessary on storage. Choosing a smaller unit means you only pay for the space you actually need.

Plowright Storage also offers flexible storage with no cancellation fees and no contract lock-ins, so you're not tied to a rigid arrangement if your plans change.

If you're looking for student storage or affordable storage while going abroad, find your nearest Plowright Storage site and choose the space that works for you.
